<div style="text-align: center;">
This letter came from the Dallas ISD page for [<a href="http://www.dallasisd.org/homerule" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Home-Rule Charter Information</a>].</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
You may have heard (if you live in Texas and maybe if not) that there are people wanting to turn Dallas ISD into a home-rule charter. &nbsp;This would basically turn it into a charter school district. &nbsp;It concerns me a bit considering I just left a charter school. &nbsp;Nothing at all against charter school, I was just hoping to move into a traditional public school district for a while.&nbsp;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
As of last week, they have gotten the signatures on the petition which has required DISD to appoint a committee to draft a plan for the charter. &nbsp;It will be voted on in November if they finish the plan in time. &nbsp;I know some of the changes that could potentially happen &#8211; but haven&#8217;t decided if I think it is the best plan for Dallas&#8230;</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They didn&#8217;t ask me though, go figure!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<b>How would you feel about your school district becoming a charter school district?</b></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
