It’s Hump Day!  Which means it’s time for a Wordless Wednesday post!  I’m linking up with Miss DeCarbo from [Sugar and Spice]! 
 My picture is actually a letter – so technically it isn’t wordless, but it’s very interesting nonetheless.

This letter came from the Dallas ISD page for [Home-Rule Charter Information].
You may have heard (if you live in Texas and maybe if not) that there are people wanting to turn Dallas ISD into a home-rule charter.  This would basically turn it into a charter school district.  It concerns me a bit considering I just left a charter school.  Nothing at all against charter school, I was just hoping to move into a traditional public school district for a while. 
As of last week, they have gotten the signatures on the petition which has required DISD to appoint a committee to draft a plan for the charter.  It will be voted on in November if they finish the plan in time.  I know some of the changes that could potentially happen – but haven’t decided if I think it is the best plan for Dallas…
They didn’t ask me though, go figure!
